The tour will stop outside the Carlyle House and we will cover Alexandria's founding and early history from the Braddock Campaign through the Civil War and into the 20th Century.

Alexandria has a large concentration of historic homes with classic architectural styles. We will point out the history behind many of Alexandria's oldest and most noteworthy historic properties.

We will stroll to Gadsby's Tavern and discover where George Washington and Thomas Jefferson wined and dined. Plus we will talk about the history of Washington D.C. and how Alexandria was part of D.C.

Visit some of America's oldest churches like Christ Church and see where American presidents like George Washington  attended church services.
